Who we are

What we collect

Checkup collects your responses to 12 survey statements (Likert scale ratings from 1 to 5), your industry selection, and your organisation size selection. Company name is optional and only collected if you choose to provide it.

No personal identifying information is required to use Checkup or view your results. You do not need to create an account or provide your name.

If you choose to receive an email copy of your results, we collect your email address for that purpose only.

How we use your data

Your survey responses are used to generate your scorecard, category scores, insights, and recommendations. These are calculated in your browser at the time you complete the survey.

Survey responses, along with industry and organisation size, may be used in aggregate (without identifying you or your organisation) for benchmarking and trend analysis. We do not sell or share individual survey responses with third parties.

If you provide your email address, we use it solely to send you a copy of your results. We do not add you to marketing lists or use your email for any other purpose without your consent.

Automated processing

Checkup produces scores, insights, and recommendations using deterministic scoring logic. Your responses are averaged per category and matched to pre-defined insight text and recommendations based on your score band. No artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models are used in this process.

The scoring is transparent: each category score is the average of two Likert responses on a 1 to 5 scale. Scores at or below 2.0 are classified as "low," scores between 2.0 and 3.5 as "mid," and scores above 3.5 as "high." Insights and recommendations are pre-written for each category and band combination.

No automated decisions are made about you as an individual. All outputs relate to organisational capability and are informational only.

Where your data is stored

Data submitted through Checkup is stored on Cloudflare's global network with an Oceania location preference. Survey scoring and result generation happen in your browser and are not sent to a server until you complete the Checkup.

Data retention

Survey responses are retained indefinitely for aggregate benchmarking purposes. No personal identifying information is attached to survey responses unless you voluntarily provide your email for a results copy.

Email addresses provided for results delivery are retained for 24 months or until you request deletion.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting privacy@ai-edge.tech. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Checkup app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
